The lake was pretty massive and gorgeous. While being out in the middle of it you can't help looking around and noticing the beauty.
This is the cove where the house was located. I am proud to say that I jumped off that bridge in the background, but a little ashamed to say that I was absolutely terrified and it took me at least ten minutes sitting on top of the bridge before I finally took the plunge.
One of the most special parts of the week was getting to spend time with my grandmother and great aunt - they made the reunion wonderful. I really appreciate talking with them as we don't often get to see them. Plus they have an amazing sense of humor and tons of stories that could keep us all entertained and/or laughing for hours :)
Unfortunately, I am completely missing floating out on that cool water while I'm stuck in VA's humidity this week :)
