I'm loving the start to fall. It's the perfect time of year because the leaves are just starting to change but they're not all over the ground yet, and it's not too cold. Last year was the first time we had a real yard and those leaves were pretty annoying. Every time they got raked up, more of them would fall! Giant leaf sucking machines would come down our street and suck a bunch of them up into a big truck but the next morning: more leaves. Even though it was an inconvenience every time you tracked them into the house on the bottom of your shoes, I think I'll still miss it this year since we're back in an apartment!
Last week sometime (or was it two weeks ago now..?) Howie Day and Randy Hauser came to play one of the colleges in town. I'm crossing my fingers that Chris will stay in college/university jobs for awhile because I love all the benefits that come along with living in a college town.
Also, I'm still trying to find a time to go apple picking. I think we're going to pick out a pumpkin next weekend so maybe the weekend after that? If anyone is interested in going, let me know!
