My list is getting shorter

It's already a third of the way through October and this is the first time this month I've loaded pictures onto my computer from my camera.  I've got a list of things to do a mile long - and one of the things on it for today was to finally get October's pictures onto my computer, so here's to crossing that one off!   I think you can chalk my excellent list-making skills up to my Type A personality :)

I'm loving the start to fall.  It's the perfect time of year because the leaves are just starting to change but they're not all over the ground yet, and it's not too cold.  Last year was the first time we had a real yard and those leaves were pretty annoying.  Every time they got raked up, more of them would fall!  Giant leaf sucking machines would come down our street and suck a bunch of them up into a big truck but the next morning: more leaves. Even though it was an inconvenience every time you tracked them into the house on the bottom of your shoes, I think I'll still miss it this year since we're back in an apartment!

Last week sometime (or was it two weeks ago now..?) Howie Day and Randy Hauser came to play one of the colleges in town.  I'm crossing my fingers that Chris will stay in college/university jobs for awhile because I love all the benefits that come along with living in a college town.

Also, I'm still trying to find a time to go apple picking.  I think we're going to pick out a pumpkin next weekend so maybe the weekend after that?  If anyone is interested in going, let me know!
