Chris and I were talking today and realized that we are currently in the longest stretch we've stayed in town since we moved here a year and a half ago. After we got home from our families' houses after the holiday, we've stayed put for a full month. And by stay put, I really mean stay put. We have not left the town's limits except to go to church on Sundays (a couple miles outside of town) for four full weekends. Even though we don't typically go very far, we haven't even gone to Richmond or Charlottesville to run an errand - which is quite a feat. That means no visits to Target, and no shopping of any kind (except groceries!). Next weekend we are heading to my parents' to celebrate my bro and sis's birthdays so the streak won't continue, but I figured it was worth mentioning. We are homebodies!
We've been spending the weekends watching sports, hanging out in sweatpants, and playing card games.
It's been a quiet January! I still haven't quite gotten used to writing the new year yet and we're almost a month through it already...
