Pi(e) Day

By complete and utter coincidence, Chris and i are celebrating pi day (March 14th or 3.14... for those of you who are not math enthusiasts) with pie! Chris has been off-handedly saying he wanted chocolate mousse pie - mainly on nights where we couldn't find anything sweet or anything with chocolate in it for an after dinner dessert. I don't think he's ever had that type of pie before, but somehow he got it into his head that it might be delicious. Well yesterday I picked up the stuff to make a chocolate mousse pie at the grocery store and then made it that afternoon. Not something I'd recommend making often for those of you that are not blessed with a Kitchenaid stand mixer, like myself. It takes a lot of mixing :)
I didn't realize until I got into work this morning that the date is actually 3/14.

On another note, this is the last reminder that due to the changes in the NCAA tournament this year brackets are due tomorrow before the games start up if you want your play-in game points to count. Chris can provide you with a very user-friendly bracket so you can fill out your picks on the computer and email it back if interested - just let us know!

so it was also Pi(e) day at school and they sold slices of pie for a quarter! i did not realize that this was a widespread thing or make the connection to the date until your post. now it makes so much more sense!!i i thought the math club just loved pi and pie!
