Happy Graduation, Erika!

After Lauren's graduation, I drove down to Chapel Hill to see Chris's sister Erika graduate. I am very glad that I got the opportunity to take part in both of their big weekends! On Saturday she had her departmental graduation and was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy - thanks for serving our country and us, Erika :)

The graduation on Sunday was huge - a sea of tarheel blue.

We were able to spot them in the crowd because they made a yellow banner and gave us a heads up before the graduation. You can kind of see their banner in this picture:

Of course Sunday was Mother's Day, so there was a little get together to celebrate both occasions at her house afterwards. (The John is the nickname of their house, in case you're curious why it's on their banner!)

Happy graduation and congratulations, Erika!

AND a late, but VERY Happy Mother's Day to both of our wonderful mothers!
