Christmas and the days after

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and are still enjoying the week of relaxation before real life picks back up next week and we have to start thinking about finding a new place and going back to work. Here are a few pictures from the day (but not ones I took, because when I looked at my camera the day after Christmas, I realized I had pretty much only taken pictures of Duncan):

We've spend the vast majority of the past two days in sweat pants eating and sitting by the fireplace...not a bad way to spend a couple days if you ask me :) Chris and I did end up taking a walk one day in Pohick Bay Regional Park to force ourselves to get dressed and out of the house for an hour. The park is located along the Potomac River, so we walked one of their trails near the water and then found a beach to skip rocks. It was a gorgeous day outside, so I'm glad we got out there before all this rain today.

We hope you all had fantastic days with family and friends, as we did!

AH! I am so behind in the blogging world, but I just finished reading all about your Christmas and was excited to see your annual pyramid! Looks like you had a wonderful - well-deserved - break! Can't wait to see you guys in the New Year :)
