Last weekend we went home to visit Chris' family and ended up in Georgetown for cupcakes on Saturday. It wasn't as crazy as when we went after Washington Post's Cupcake Wars during
2008, which made it all the better, if you ask me :) We actually went to
Georgetown Cupcake this time because the line wasn't as long. Their store had changed locations to a bigger place since the last time we went and it was actually pretty cool. All their internal walls were glass so you could see into the kitchen and watch the baking/decorating.
Chris' mom and sisters said they preferred the cupcake place called
Sprinkles though, and after trying both, I have to say I agree. Their cupcakes are delicious. The shop is a lot smaller, and therefore it's more crowded, but their cupcakes were worth it :)
We had a great time walking around and eating (two of my favorite activities) and it was overall just a fun and relaxing weekend.

We have Sprinkles, too, but I've never tried them. I was thinking of making some of my own. . . thanks for the inspiration :))!

I have never been to Sprinkles! I've heard all the hype about Georgetown, but the line is always so intimidating. Looks like you had a great weekend :)
