Apparently if you live within the city limits, they pick it up off your curb for free. Sounds much easier to me!

Christmas tree disposal
In order to get rid of our Christmas tree this year it had to be taken to a recycling center. We didn't have a car big enough to get the tree into so our neighbor came over to help chop the tree into three pieces and throw it into his trunk. It was definitely the most creative way we've disposed of a Christmas tree thus far...

that is incredible. and I love that Alex was your neighbor and "chopping" the tree was breaking it over the deck!
I felt like I was watching a clip of Tim Allen in Home Improvement....all we needed was a little more grunting :)
