It has been raining for five days straight here in Williamsburg, which means our front yard is a swamp, our sidewalks and streets are miniature pools and I have been, for the most part, stuck inside. Last night they called for snow! I love snow despite not being so much of a fan of the cold weather that accompanies it, but I was looking forward to the snow this time more so because it meant an end to the rain. Well, I was not disappointed. When we woke up this morning, there was a little bit of snow on the ground, the sun was shining, and the rain had stopped! Chris was not thrilled to have to go out and scrape his car to get to work since there was obviously nothing still on the roads to cause a snow day or even a delay due to how wet it's been lately, but I'm still thankful that we have a break from the rain.
