Rainy days

You know the old adage, "April showers bring May flowers?" Well I don't really remember it raining much in April, but throughout May and early June, we've been having crazy on and off thunderstorms. I usually love thunderstorms because they cool things down a bit and I enjoy the sound of rain, but lately they seem to keep happening on my days off. I feel like I end up cooped inside the house all the time now because I have to work on the sunny days and am home on the rainy ones. Also, the tree/bush/plant thing that grows next to and over our deck is currently flowering, so it is almost impossible to sit out there and use the deck. There seem to always be tons and tons of bees hovering all around. I won't be sad to see those flowers go :)

I'm probably speaking too soon because we are now entering hurricane season...Andrea just came through, though she was a tropical storm by the time she hit us here, but today is sunny and bright, and I am thrilled!
