Last Busch Gardens of the season

Because we have a season pass to Busch Gardens, they offered another "bring a fiend for free" ticket for their Howl-O-Scream season. Chris came with us and we took Jane on her first outing to BG! The park is completely decorated in a creepy fashion and unfortunately it may be the last time we take Eleanor during late September/October for several years because I don't want to give her nightmares!

We had great luck because we went on an overcast/rainy morning, so despite it being a Saturday, it was not crowded at all. We didn't have to wait in any lines and for the first time this season, because I'm no longer pregnant, I got to ride roller coasters! I rode Tempesto (the new one), the Griffon, and the Loch Ness Monster.

Eleanor got to ride all of her standard rides and had a great time because we hadn't been in almost a month due to Jane being born. She also finally was able to maneuver the bumper cars at the Auto Bahn Jr. though she basically drove in circles the whole time. We walked through Jack Hanna's Wild Reserve and saw bald eagles, wolves, and then took a walk through the lorikeet glen. When a lorikeet landed on my head and shoulder, Eleanor got scared so we left :)

We had to take a break for feeding, but luckily it was raining so it was a good time to sit under some cover.

And Jane got to ride her first ride ever! The carousel!

It was a great trip to BG and possibly our last until ChristmasTown.

So glad you got to go. You are adventurous! And glad you got your turn on the coasters. Love that foot picture! All of them are great.
