Happy Easter!

This year we stayed in town for Easter. Both of the girls had been sick in the weeks leading up to Easter, Jane had some other things going on that week, and sleep had been hard to come by so we decided it was best for the family to stay planted and on our usual routine. On Friday we went to the Good Friday service at our church. We usually don't get to go to this because we've generally traveled on Easter in the past, but it was very nice.

We invited my family down and my mom and sister decided to come on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday morning we went to CW and the farmer's market to walk around. Eleanor got her face painted - a flower, which she didn't want to wipe off all day.

After naps on Saturday afternoon, our friends invited us over to grill and have an Easter egg hunt for the kids. It was a bit of chaos and a lot of fun.

On Sunday morning we went to church bright and early since both girls were up already.

And then we came home to have another little Easter egg hunt (inside because it was rainy and wet).

I tried to get a good picture of the girls together, and this is the best I could do... :)
