When you don't nap

Eleanor is still a 2 (and sometimes 3) hour a day napper. In the afternoon she crashes and then is up to play again. The other day she decided to skip her nap, despite almost falling asleep in the car after lunch and the afternoon ended up being a disaster. By dinner time, her eyes were completely glazed over and she was almost catatonic. Here she is at 6pm after not napping:

And not to be outdone, Jane, who does not seem to rely on sleep as much as Eleanor does, also sometimes doesn't make it all the way through dinner time...
