The beginning of preschool

Eleanor starting preschool has been a lot of fun for both her and for us! Just in the first three weeks she has learned so much and grown an equal amount. I already knew she was a fast learner, but I really wasn't expecting her to come home knowing so much more in such a short period of time. For example, just the other day she came home, drew some patterns, and then made patterns out of household objects.

Her drawings, which used to be just scribbles, have turned into actual things and letters. She particularly likes drawing dinosaurs and writing her name. The middle pictures is of her, Jane, and Gaby as dinosaurs and then last picture is of the card she made for Chris for his birthday last week.

Plus, the school has a lot of optional things you can be involved in like the Wild West Recess we went to the other week and a birthday celebration for August and September birthdays that Jane and I came to.

Overall she is loving being a "big kid" who goes to school now and we are loving that she loves it!
