Charter Day Weekend

Every year William & Mary celebrates it's birthday - the day it received its charter. This year marked W&M's 325th birthday.

We tailgated with other basketball alums and their families. Then we headed in to the annual Gold Rush game.

The basketball alumni were recognized during half time.

And when we got home, skipping naps had been just too much for sweet Jane.

One of my friends from college is on Chris' board, and Charter Day Weekend is always the weekend all the boards get together at W&M so she was in town from Seattle! She had a son right around the time our babies were born and we were so thankful that we got the chance to meet him.

That evening, Chris and I left all the kids in the care of my mom and headed to the Charter Day Gala. We haven't been since 2013 before Eleanor was born. My mom rocked it at home getting everyone their dinner and bottles and getting everyone down for bed. It's no easy feat!

Happy birthday, W&M!
