Busch Gardens with four

I was really on the fence this year about getting passes to Busch Gardens. I knew I would never be able to go without Chris, since they won't help you put your stroller on the tram if there are kids in it and there was no way I could take both babies out and help put the stroller on the tram at the same time. The girls are still free though, so Chris and I talked and decided it was still worth trying since we weren't going to join a pool this year. Last weekend we decided to bite the bullet and go for the first time this season (we had been for Christmas Town in December, but that is less rides and more experience so it's a bit easier). At first, we were regretting it as we waited for something like an hour in line to get the girls' tickets (you can't do the preschool passes at a kiosk), but the day ended up being a success after that.

Eleanor finally hit 42", so there were several new rides open to her for the summer. In true Eleanor fashion, she wanted to go on all of them and decided none of them were scary and she loves them all. The ones we tried this past weekend were DaVinci's Cradle, the Flying Machine, and Escape from Pompeii (all in Italy). The other "new" thing she did was ride the Grover coaster alone. She is now tall enough to go unattended, so Chris and I waited at the bottom with Jane and Eleanor ran through the line by herself something like 4 times in a row before we told her it was time to call it quits.

Jane also did a great job. She waited in the lines for the Little Balloons and the Little Gliders by herself. She also found people in line to ride with (while Eleanor was on the bigger kid rides).

The babies even did their part. They took their first bottles in over two months. Rosie put up a massive fight but eventually sucked it down, but Ben took it like a champ. Picture courtesy of Eleanor!

I even saw one woman with 3 month old twins and a 3 year old so I didn't feel like the only crazy person there, and in true Williamsburg fashion, we ran into at least 3 or 4 people/families we knew. We absolutely love living here. It is a big enough place that there is usually something to do (though often we're doing the same things over and over again) but such a small town that we see people everywhere we go.

This is awesome! So glad Eleanor and Jane are able to do some of the stuff by them selves! Looks like a great day for all and a great summer with Bush Garden time!
