Just Jane being Jane

Sometimes people think that because Eleanor is older, asserts her will, and knows her mind, that Jane is somewhat less assertive and meeker. I have to be honest, they are totally different kids, but that's simply not true. Jane is so assertive, knows what she wants, and cannot be controlled by any of the methods we employed with Eleanor. She can also throw a tantrum with the best of them. I took this picture of her the other day because it was a perfect representation of this girl. Shirt on inside out and backwards, hair in disarray, three separate skirts on (the top one being a skort, so I can't imagine this was comfortable), and shoes on the wrong feet. She is doing exactly what she wants, exactly the way she wants to do it. No amount of words can convince this girl to do anything differently. She is very special!
