December field trips

Both Eleanor and Jane had field trips this month. Eleanor's class went to Colonial Williamsburg for the day and did a scavenger hunt. By a random occurrence, Jane didn't have school that day (a day she normally is supposed to) so she got to come on the field trip, too. Coach Anne agreed to come with me to help manage all the kids! It was Eleanor's day to be line leader, which she was pretty excited about!

Jane's class went to Mill Farm where they grow Christmas trees. The teachers brought hot chocolate and cookies and we wandered around looking at trees and learning about their different characteristics.

Sadly on the way to Jane's field trip, Ben had what I believe to be a random allergic reaction (his eyes got very suddenly all red and puffy), so we had to hop back in the car, run to a drug store for Benedryl, and then head back. Thankfully, about 10 minutes after the Benedryl he was fine.
