Strawberry picking

On Mother's Day afternoon we headed to Surry to go strawberry picking. We usually choose College Run Farm just for the ice cream. It had been thunderstorming on and off all day, but we still decided to make the trek and it was totally worth it! It didn't rain at all while we were there, wasn't muddy at all, and actually the weather wasn't too hot or humid, either! But first I wanted to share the cards the girls made me for Mother's Day... Jane even glued crayons on hers. It may be my favorite card to date! Jane's is on the left and Eleanor's on the right.

We took the ferry over the river.

We picked lots of strawberries...

Ben ate lots of strawberries, and Rosie ate a few and threw a lot.

It was a great day.

And, of course, it ended with ice cream...
