York River State Park

On President's Day all the kids were off school and we decided to go for a hike with some friends. The kids did relatively well, though Ben and Rosie had to be carried the majority of the way. We went to York River State Park - the river across the peninsula from the one we live on.

We hiked to Fossil Beach and the kids had fun playing in the sand a bit and eating lunch. The big girls even got creative and made a see-saw out of a piece of wood they found on the beach.

It was a great time!

The first picture reminds me of the the London trip with Grammy calling you and Lauren Hooligan! Looks like a fun day!
