Memorial Day Weekend

The weekend before Memorial Day we were able to get together with Auntie Lo and Uncle Benny again! They came over to our house for a walk and an early grilling session!

On Memorial Day weekend, Chris' parents came down to visit for the first time since March (or potentially even before that)! We jumped on the trampoline, went on a bike ride, went to Bruster's, went to the beach, and spent some good time together.

Then on Monday, we were able to go out to Auntie Lo and Uncle Benny's house for the FIRST time! We loved it! They live in such a cute neighborhood where everyone runs around on golf carts. We went to their neighborhood park/beach.

And we grilled before heading down to their dock to fish! Eleanor and Uncle Benny caught a catfish with a piece of Ben's hot dog. It was very exciting for everyone!

Later that evening we rounded out our weekend by heading down to the river at home to play.

Happy Memorial Day. We are so thankful for the sacrifices made by many so that we could spend time with our family and grill in this country.
