October's weather has been wonderful. It's not yet cold enough that I have to pull out the hats, scarves, gazillion gloves and mittens, but it's cool enough for pants, hoodies, or light jackets. We've been outside every morning before we do school for P.E. with our neighbors, and just enjoying our new rhythm of life. I finally feel like we are in a new normal, where we're home all the time, no one is allowed into anyone else's house, socializing is only allowed outside, we shop for everything online (except groceries, though you can, we just don't yet), and masks are worn at all times indoors.
Ben and Rosie pushing each other in the stroller.
Rosie learned what a pig says:
The girls finished up playing tennis and went to the park one day with Chris to play.
Chris and Ben have been installing new hooks in our garage. "Don't drill without me, dada!"
We even got to support Auntie Ashleigh on her Capital Trail ride. We made signs, a banner, and met her in front of our neighborhood and then again at a brewery where she finished with chili and cookies. Chris rode some of the ride with her to make sure they weren't riding alone once it was dark.
All four kids have been having sleepovers in the twins room for the past couple weeks. They love all four sharing a room!
Here is a funny video of Rosie singing The Horse and Rider. "My Lord, my God, my strength, my song has now become my victory! The Lord is God and I will praise him. My Father is God and I will exalt him. HEY!"
Bonnie came to play with us for the day last week! It was so fun. Ben kept sneaking kisses when he thought I wasn't looking :)
Two sets of two-year-old twins! (Our neighbors across the street also have boy/girl twins.)
Onward to November!
