Field trip Friday week 6 - Rosie breaks her arm

Rosie decided it was time to climb out of her crib. Unfortunately, that exciting adventure ended with a broken right radius and ulna (buckle fractures). We waited 24 hours to take her in because she kept doing things that indicated she was fine, but then she would refuse to use her right hand to color or use a fork, and she also woke up 4 times in the middle of the night crying (very unusual). So we headed in to the urgent care.

Sure enough, it was broken. For our "Friday field trip" we ended up sitting in an orthopedist office getting her arm checked out. Thankfully it was a super rainy day so we likely wouldn't have been doing anything else fun.

She is now in a harder splint (wrapped up so she can't undo the velcro) until mid-November when we check out her healing progress.

Sweet, fierce Rosie! These pictures show her spunk. Love her hair in these pics. Praying for complete healing!
