Our neighborhood does a soup potluck, pumpkin carving, and hay ride down at the marina the weekend before Halloween. We went down this year with all of our family in town and it was a great evening - beautiful weather!
The kids love this night every year. They love the hay ride, they love that they don't have to go to bed as soon as it gets dark, and it really feels fun and festive. Plus I get to watch the sunset!
