Last week was Chris' birthday! He got to open some presents before Ben and Rosie had to go to school. We had a big storm coming through that was going to bring some rain for several days, so he mowed the lawn and was able to fit in a run.
His request for dinner was carnitas so I did my best - I've never made them before. He found a recipe online and I followed it and I think they came out pretty well!
His cake was chocolate with chocolate icing and it was delicious.
