Canyonlands National Park

Canyonlands National Park was the last national park we hit in Utah. It also complete the "Mighty Five," which, for the record, we had never heard of before this trip and hadn't planned on doing.

By the time we hit this park, everyone was tired.

We decided to hike the Mesa Arch, which is the most popular hike in the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands (.8 miles). It was a very cool arch that looks down on the canyon below.

It was very beautiful and thankfully a very short hike.

In this picture you can see Chris standing at the top left and the Rockies in the background.

Then we hit Upheaval Dome. It was also a short hike to the overlook, but it was steep. Ben sang the entire way down and entertained several hikers.

From there we went to the Grand View Point Overlook where off to the right you can see the intersection of the Colorado and Green Rivers.

We went to the Green River Overlook.

Jane enjoyed the sun roof on the van.

We also stopped at the Shafer Canyon Overlook.

Then we headed home to our tiny house to rest before heading to Colorado!
