Triathlons of 2023

Early in the summer, Chris swam the swim leg of a sprint relay for a triathlon group at the Jamestown Triathlon.

Then in July, Chris did another Olympic triathlon. This one had a much harder and longer course than last year's and it was also much hotter (it rained last year). It was based out of the Chickahominy Riverfront Park.

The kids watching Chris transition from swim to bike.

Sweating while we wait.

Coming across the finish line:

The champion!

Chris actually won his age group category:

Then, earlier in the summer both Eleanor and Jane did a mock triathlon. They swam 100m, biked 2.5 miles, and ran about a mile all in approximately 30 minutes. They are excited to do a real triathlon one day!

Great job Chris and girls!
