We didn't have much in the way of plans for Labor Day weekend. Chris has a fantasy football draft/guys weekend Thursday through Saturday of that weekend every year and the kids had no school on Friday so I took them down to the marina for much of the day.
That night we decided to do s'mores and campfire karaokee with our small group and then backyard camp (only us and one other family camped).
Sunday night our neighborhood had a picnic.
And though our pool is actually open for two more weekends, we unofficially closed the pool down. We were out of town the weekend after Labor Day and with it being hurricane season around here, we just couldn't count on getting that weekend after. That being said, I've been lap swimming while the kids are at school, and our pool is being heated this year by a year-round swim team to use for practice so there may be some opportunity to swim at some point in the future, but for now, this is it, hence the use of "unofficially."
