November was lovely! The weather was cool to cold most of the time, but we were still able to enjoy a ton of time outside. There seemed to be tons of days off from school including the Thanksgiving break, and some things wrapped up for the calendar year (soccer, my Bible study).
Rosie and Ben have been "writing" stories at school. This was Rosie's depiction of outside church - she labeled all her people and showed all the cars in the parking lot while we do church.
We have been doing some fires in the backyard on weekend evenings when it's nice out.
Burrito children:
Beautiful sunrises down at the marina:
I took my big girls to vote with me. I'm having flashes to when they will be in high school already...slow down!!
We "ducked" the church on a day off school (basically hid 400 tiny ducks around peoples' offices). The kids had such a great time finding places to hide them!
Eleanor had to do a rock project for school. She (and many others) picked amethyst. Hers is the rectangular one in the picture below.
We went on a hike with friends
We went to the fall festival at church:
Our neighborhood had a Thanksgiving breakfast down at the marina on a gorgeous morning.
I took the girls to see the Nutcracker at the library and they got to make tutus.
We got to celebrate Bonnie's birthday with her!
We went to a W&M Basketball game and later that day Rosie lost her second tooth!
We are heading into the final month of the year with grateful hearts and ready to spend time with family and celebrate Advent.
