Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving started out with some fun activities at school. Ben and Rosie had some Thanksgiving rotations the parents were invited to, Jane got to eat lunch in her classroom, and Eleanor got to skip her English class and stay with her homeroom class to watch a movie based off the book they read this quarter (thankfully we had already read the book as a read aloud last year since she reads different things in her English class).

Then we headed up to Chris' mom's house for the holiday with some of his siblings. We went on a little hike around Lake Mercer.

We spent time at playgrounds with cousins

We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

We kicked field goals...all the kids made one over this year except for Rosie - I was impressed!

The girls played dress up with Auntie Ashleigh and Jessie's old dresses.

Jane did a repeat of her Veteran's Day performance.

We enjoyed an aperol spritz.

We played lots of games...including this one Think 'N Sync with this fun card that included all our children's names.

There was an official "lighting" of the Christmas lights after dinner.

We had a great time spending time with family and enjoying each others company. Happy Thanksgiving! And a huge thank you to Gaby for hosting all of us!
