The big girls participated in run club through their school. The culmination of the club is a 5k and Ben decided he wanted to run it this year, too. I planned to bring the stroller just in case, but at the last minute decided against it and decided I would just stick with Ben and walk near the back. Well Ben smoked me. He ran the whole thing in about 35 minutes and never stopped to walk at all. I was shocked! Jane also set her own PR at 33:19 - a full 10 minutes faster than her last PR. Eleanor had a rough race due to a cramp, but still finished.
Post-race:
Ben is already looking forward to doing another 5k.
