On day three we planned to move from Lucerne to Interlaken for the evening, so we packed up, locked our luggage at the Lucerne train station, and headed out for a day up at Titlis. We wanted to get some snow in since we were headed to the alps and it did not disappoint!
Once we were up there we did a cliff walk along the highest suspension bridge in Europe. I was not thrilled with how much movement you could feel!
We went up to the viewpoint:
We walked through a glacier, which was a very cool experience!
We did their ice flyer, which takes you to their snow park (open in the winter, not in August).
We took a very scenic chairlift back down the mountain halfway to Truebsee.
We waded in glacier water coming off the mountains. It was so, so painful, but felt so good!
Third day of cows! They were so peaceful.
We did an interesting "bag jump" from about 20-25 feet up. It was surprisingly scary (see video below)! And then took this moving ski lift back up to the gondola to head down.
We then headed back to Lucerne where we picked up the Lucerne-Interlaken scenic train.
That evening we explored Interlaken.
Then we grabbed our luggage and headed a quite steep hill to our lovely AirBnB in Ringgenberg.
