Early on day five, we headed to our local bus stop in Ringgenberg to head to the train station.
From Ringgenberg we headed to Kandersteg for our hike!
We took yet another gondola up a mountain...
...so we could embark on our hike around Oeschinensee.
It was a long and steep climb, but our first views of Oeschinensee were beautiful!
The climb down from the top was very steep.
After the looooong hot hike we finally made it down to the beautiful lake! It was quite chilly, but not as cold as the glacier stream coming off Titlis. From Kandersteg we went back to Interlaken, showered and changed, and headed out to dinner at Harder Kulm to watch the sun set. We had to wait quite awhile for the funicular up the mountain.
But it was beautiful once we got up there! We ate at the Panorama Restaurant.
It was just such a beautiful setting and we enjoyed eating traditional Swiss food. I got schnitzel and Chris had Aelper Roesti.
