May wrap-up

May with all the kids in school is always crazy. I believe we've had 4 band concerts, 2 choir concerts, endless games and practices, a tournament, the end of several sports seasons and the start of summer swim, SOLs, end of year projects, work travel, try outs, and decisions to make about summer. The weather has been intermittently freezing and hot - like middle of summer hot. Everything feels unpredictable! We've also had lots of sweet moments!

We were able to sign and lay prayers for the new foundation of our church's outdoor structure (a permanent remnant of a Covid-era change):

We saw Come From Away - such a great show.

My peonies bloomed!

Rosie somehow had perfect attendance this year, but no one else did. I honestly have no idea if this is accurate or even possible, but she was pleased!

We went to Busch Gardens one night briefly while the twins had a birthday party:

Mother's Day! Lauren and I took mom out to brunch at First Watch, and Rob and Chris took Gaby out to Amber Ox. The guys in our small group ordered food for the moms (on paper plates, so no clean up or mess)!

Gaby had lunch at school one day with Rosie and Ben:

Some of the guys went up to watch Liv Golf:

We had banana splits at Brusters:

A golf event for charity:

Family dinner!

Slime making with friends!

Fireflies are out for the season:

Now it's time to prep for camp before we eventually get into a summer rhythm!
