Happy April

Happy April! This is the first year that I can remember March actually coming in like a lion and out like a lamb. I love spring - mostly because it gets warmer, the days get longer and I actually start seeing daylight again despite my weird hours at the hospital.

Chris had a couple of work-related events this weekend so we have just been hanging around town. Friday evening, I helped out with registration for the Tribe Club's annual Oyster Roast and we stuck around to watch the baseball game with a few friends.

We also have some flowers growing outside! The daffodils have already come and gone - I don't know much of anything about flowers though so I'm not sure whether they'll come back, or whether we'll have to wait until next year to see them again.

On tap for the rest of the month: Easter, finishing up all my school clincals for the semester, volunteering for Serve the City, and the basketball reunion weekend.
