Week 21

We are obviously glad to hear that things are going well and that at least so far, nothing is out of the ordinary. I joke sometimes about how I don't read pregnancy books or those online week-by-week things that tell you "what you need to know" so it is nice to hear from a professional that I am not doing any harm to baby Strat. Every so often I do something I'm not supposed to do like eat raw cookie dough (how can you not?) or order a sandwich at Panera with deli meat, but the way I see it, women have done this for millions of years with much less guidance, so this baby will come out just the way God intends for him/her to come out regardless...still it is nice to hear from the doctors that no harm has made it's way from those raw eggs to the baby!

Lastly, a couple ultrasound pictures from this week:

The baby can't fit it's whole body into the screen anymore! Any opinions yet on girl vs. boy from the baby's final pictures before her/his debut?

So exciting! I think the surprise will make baby Strats welcoming so much more exciting on that very special arrival day! Definitely growing!

Hard to tell by the US...

But, no comment on whether mom feels baby Strat moving?
That's not gas bubbles or indigestion you are feeling!

what a cute little ultrasound baby! :) I'm leaning towards boy, but I thought baby Heacock was a boy too, and I turned out to be wrong, so who knows!

Put me in the "girl" column for Baby Strat! Either way can't wait to meet him/her :)
