Happy Wedding Lisa & Mike!

Last weekend, Chris and I headed with all of my college roommates to Charlottesville for the wedding of one of our own. We had not all been together in the same place for two and a half years since Maggie's wedding in 2011 and it certainly was a joyous occasion...this time with two babies! It was also the first time many of them were meeting Eleanor. We obviously took all the opportunities we had to get a picture of the eight of us together :) A couple roommates came to Williamsburg the night before to caravan to Charlottesville the next morning, and we met up with the rest, excepting the bride, of course, for lunch before the wedding where we caught up on everyone's wonderful life updates.

The wedding was absolutely gorgeous, replete with fun, friends, fireworks (!), food (including a donut truck that also provided churros), and tons of gorgeous details. They had settled on a wood theme and it seemed as though we were outside despite it being in a tent due to the weather.

Another fun surprise was a photobooth set up where we could all take as many pictures as we wanted, which we did!

The next morning there was a brunch where we all got to catch up again, this time in a less formal and quieter setting. Eleanor and Hannah got to hang out a bit and meet a few people that Eleanor didn't get a chance to meet at the after party the night before.

Sadly, we all head to head home after brunch to get back to regular life, but it was an amazing weekend and awesome to see everyone! Congratulations Lisa & Mike!
