Merry Christmas!

As I mentioned in the last post, this was a big year for us - a year filled with change and new challenges. Luckily, I was indoctrinated into a lifestyle of change early in our marriage due to our seemingly constant flux in jobs and housing status. After year one (the year in which I planned and schemed about which paths our lives would take) didn't turn out the way I had anticipated, I learned to let go and trust that there may be a better plan for our family than mine. Our life is authored by a wonderful Creator and our course has been so much more bountiful this way.

The biggest and most important change this year has obviously been the addition of Eleanor to our family. She's such a joy to us and gives Christmas new meaning. God sacrificed His only son to give us full life free from bondage if we choose it and knowing that His love for us more perfectly and fully resembles our imperfect love which we have for Eleanor is pretty hard to fathom.

Merry Christmas from the Strattons - we wish everyone a wonderful holiday and many blessings in the new year!

Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.
2 Corinthians 9:15
