As I mentioned earlier, we had another snow storm last week, this time bigger than the previous week's. Each time they predict any legitimate amount of snowfall, everyone around here waits with baited breath thinking that we'll believe it when we see it, but sure enough, we've had a couple decent snowfalls this year. I unfortunately had to work the morning this snow was coming down, so a hospital maintenance crew person came and picked me up in a 4-wheel drive truck at 5:30 in the morning to get me to work by 7. The roads were not fun while it was actually coming down, and I wasn't about to drive to work in Chris' 18 year old car with no heat (did I mention the heat broke a few weeks ago??? Brrrr!!!!!!! Yet we are still hoping to get another year or so of life out of that car...). Anyway, Chris and Eleanor had a great day. They started out by getting cleaned up and brushing their teeth. Eleanor loves "brushing" her teeth. Basically she sucks off her flavored toothpaste and then chews on her brush.
Then they built a pillow fort and the neighbors came over to play. They did a lot of "kaboom" which is what they say when they fall down or bump their head, although when Eleanor says it, it sounds like "he moe."
Then they went out and built a snowman.
And then went out again and helped the neighbors build a snowman!
Overall a great snow day in the books. We still have snow on the ground here, but now that it's officially March, I'm hoping for the snow to clear and spring to come. In like a lion, out like a lamb, right?

I love the tennis ball eyes on the snowman :) Love snow days!
Boo for working on snow days! We had one today although there is no snow or ice anywhere :) I'm glad to know kaboom is still going strong.
Adorable!
What a great way to enjoy the day!
Those are nice looking snowmen!
