Starting the first of December, my maternity leave ended and I headed back to work. Initially we had hoped that I could stay out of work through the New Year, but because Jane came a couple weeks early, it was a bit too much of a stretch. I've been back to work a week now and so far it's been pretty smooth sailing. Jane is now going to the same daycare that Eleanor was going to, and Eleanor is enjoying having her sister there with her.
Jane's first day of daycare:
Eleanor has been such a great helper with Jane. She always runs to grab me a burp cloth or diaper when we need one, and otherwise loves trying to "play" with Jane. She particularly enjoys shaking rattles in Jane's face and turning on Jane's swing for her. He new favorite activity though is "helping" Jane in the jumper. Poor Jane. Thank goodness that thing has bumpers on it...

Great to hear the transition to day care went smoothly. It is nice that Jane doesn't seem to get dizzy. Whew!! Fun to see Eleanor entertain Jane!
So glad Jane is happy and Eleanor happy to have her there!
