Ben is three months old

Ben is three months old now! He is slightly longer than his sister, but weighs less by a few ounces (still less than 1st percentile). His cry is very distinctive - Chris says he sounds like a wounded sheep. It is a very pathetic and drawn out cry compared to his sister. He loves to suck on his hand but we are trying to replace it with the pacifier as much as possible (eventually we can take the pacifier away, but we can't take his hand away). He has started to make a few cooing sounds but is mostly still quiet (or crying). Ben smiles more than Rosie but still doesn't do it too often. He is still sleeping well, eating once during the night - about 3.5 ounces. He isn't on any sort of schedule yet, just napping and eating whenever he pleases during the day, but he tends to do really well when we go out places sleeping in his car seat. Ben also seems to enjoy the playmat. He is still wearing newborn clothes and occasionally three month outfits. He also switched from newborn to size 1 diapers last week (but only because we ran out - the size 1 diapers leak a little because they're still a bit big).

Ben at one, and two months old.

Rosie and Ben:

All the kids at three months!

Eleanor at three months.
Jane at three months.
Rosie at three months.

He looks so contemplative at this stage, taking it all in! I'm guessing he will be tall and lean like his dad!

Still the cutest little old man I've ever seen <3 I can't wait to hold him again. He can stay small for now, at some point he's going to outgrow all his sisters (and you)!
