We went up to my mom's house for her birthday and we decided to bike part of the W&OD trail. Dave very kindly dropped us off in Purcellville and picked us up in Vienna. It was so nice of him! Altogether we biked 33.4 miles of it and also got to celebrate my mom's birthday!
My mom made some fun treats for the kids.
We journeyed out on bikes.
The weather was amazing. It was supposed to rain all day, but never ended up raining until the late afternoon so the temperature was perfect.
We passed a rock quarry, which was interesting to see.
The kids played outside. We also got to meet Maggie, their new dog, at a distance.
I made my first cheesecake for my mom's birthday "cake" this year. It came out decently!
And the unfortunately we had to say goodbye and head back home. It was a good, but short visit!
