Our friends went up to Lake Anna for a family vacation the other week. Most of the family had to leave by the end of the week so they invited us up for the day. Chris had to work and the weather was very iffy on the way up (it rained the entire time I was driving), but everything turned out great! It was a quick trip, but so much fun that Jane cried for about 30 minutes on the say home sobbing and hiccuping because, "I had too much fun that I'm so sad it's over!"

Ben and Rosie rejoiced in screen time, playing a computer game and the Nintendo Wii.
We went tubing on the lake, reminding me heavily of our Bass Lake vacations growing up - such wonderful memories.
The kids also got to enjoy a movie evening.
It was so much fun, the kids are already talking about trying to do it again next year!

What a fantastic short trip! Love that Jane loved it so much she cried! She looked scared to death on the tubbing pictures. Definitely reminded me of Bass Lake trips!
