Anymore snow this year?

We are getting some almost spring-like weather right now in central VA. It is wonderful - the sun is shining but it's still cool out. It's hard to believe that last weekend we were trudging through snow when we visited my family a couple hours north of here. Snow is pretty, though and I wouldn't mind getting a bit more this year if it meant a day off work...

On a random note: remember our Christmas plates? Well I still haven't packed them up yet. The main reason why is simply that I haven't gotten around to it and I've been a bit lazy, but I now have decided on a new standard for how long it's "acceptable" to use these. Chris was taking the trash out the other day and guess what. Our Christmas tree is still out there! We must be very irresponsible county residents...

Apparently the last day the county picks up trees is on January 3rd or something like that, but we had just gotten home from our winter break and didn't have time to take down all our Christmas decorations before the 3rd. Anyway, I've decided we can use our plates as long as that tree is still sitting out there :) I may have to reevaluate this statement if it's still out there next month, though.
