Jane is five months old

Jane is five months old now! We are sure she weighs over 17 pounds, but not sure how much more. This month was a little rough, suffering through RSV, something that interrupted her sleep. We haven't gotten back on track in the sleep realm, so she is still waking up multiple times a night - somewhere between 2 (usual) and 4 (unusual) times. This past week we started putting Jane down in the crib, but most nights she ends up back in our room due to multiple wake ups. She is sitting up very unsteadily, but is not rolling over. This may be due to the fact that she hates tummy time, and therefore, we don't do it much. She loves watching her sister, and grabbing toys. She also seems to be quite interested in food. She will lock eyes with a fork and whimper while staring longingly, so we plan to start trying food this coming month. Her awake/asleep times are starting to get a little more predictable, though we are still not on any sort of schedule. I can't feel or see any teeth yet, but she is still drooling a fair amount, though not as much as last month. She loves to suck on her hands, and particularly her thumb, which I am trying to discourage without much success.

Eleanor at five months for comparison:

Jane at onetwothree, and four months old.
