Eleanor is five months old now! We have no idea how much she weighs, but we're guessing somewhere around 15 pounds. Besides her favorite past time, which is still grabbing things this month, she can sit up by herself and maintain her balance for a fair amount of time, but is still not the steadiest of sitters. She is teething, and though there are no teeth showing right now, we can feel some bottom teeth near the surface of her gums. That means there is still a lot of drool going on this month. She's rolling a little more, but still much prefers to sit or stand (with assistance) to laying on the ground. She doesn't totally hate tummy time anymore since she can typically roll onto her back whenever she gets frustrated. Her favorite toys are blocks that she can grab, collect, and bang on the ground. She also loves to yell and make noise while she plays, which is pretty adorable because our house is mostly quiet during the day. She also is getting tired earlier at night these days and has started going to bed closer to 8 or 9 the past week or so. If it happens to be a basketball game night, she will nap with whoever is holding her at the game and then go to sleep when we get home.
