Love, Respect, and Basketball

We went to the Love and Respect conference at Chapel this weekend, and despite the power being knocked out by a thunderstorm on Friday evening, everyone was pretty flexible and things went smoothly on Saturday. We went with a few friends and it was a great conference undeterred by its early set backs. We are now doing the 6-week study in a group. Beginning in January, some of our old friends in Williamsburg along with new people we met when we moved here decided to get together and start a new Bible study. We love all the people in the group and it has been a great way to get connected with some people in this area.

Switching gears, happy March! As you all know from sticking around here awhile, March = March Madness. Chris is gearing up for the CAA tournament this weekend and as soon as all these conferences finish up their own tournaments and the NCAA tournament teams are chosen, I think Chris will be putting together information for our 4th bracket challenge. Congratulations again to our past winners: Christina (2011), Chris' dad Bob (2010), and Alex (2009). As always, there is no money involved so we are compliant with NCAA regulations (because Chris works in athletics), and everyone is welcome to participate. It's all about the glory, anyway, not the money, right?
